May 16Many people visit our masses during the summer at Sacred Hearts and we want to try something fun with our music program. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, we will host a Y’all Come and Sing Choir. Show up at Sacred Hearts at 7:15 am on a Sunday morning and we will practice music for the service including a song that we sing by ourselves after communion. If you are an instrumentalist (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Trumpet, Sax, Flute), email me so I can have music ready for you to play. All you need to do is bring your instrument. This is low pressure and music reading is not a requirement. Any ages from High School on up are welcome! This is a great opportunity to enhance our masses without a huge commitment of time. The Baby Bottle Campaign for Options on 8 helps women facing an unplanned Pregnancy to find the hope and support they need to welcome their babies into the world. It’s easy to participate! Just pick up a bottle at your parish after church service on the weekend of Mother’s Day, fill it with coins, cash or check over the coming weeks. Bring it back to the church on Father’s Day, June 15th, and know that your giving is making a positive difference for the women and children of our community.
